How do I Rent a Unit
Rent Online by going to the Rent a Storage Unit tab. Select the Size Unit, and fill out your contact information. Pay the required rent and deposit, and electronically sign the rental agreement. You will receive a welcome email with instructions for accessing your unit once you have completed all the steps of the online rental process.
Don't want to book online, give us a call at 563-581-3226 to schedule a time to meet at the facility to rent the unit, or we can set it up over the phone.
What am I allowed to store?
Most items are allowed, including but not limited to: furniture, documents, vehicles and others. We do not permit Renters to store food, flammable items, any hazardous or illegal materials.
How long is my lease?
Most of our leases are month to month and just require a 30 day notice to vacate except for our 20x50 units which require a minimum of a one-year lease with a 60 day notice to vacate. The notice to vacate can either be emailed to email@example.com, you can submit thru your online account, or mail the written notice to PO Box 231 Peosta, IA 52068. All leases are month-to-month, so the last day of your lease is the last day of the month, and there is no discount for moving out early.
When will I get my security deposit back?
Within two weeks of the last day of your lease. To ensure that you receive your deposit back you are required to give the 30 day notice to vacate, remove all items, sweep your unit, and remove your lock. The deposit is mailed by check to the address on file, so please make sure to get that updated if needed when you provide your notice to vacate.
What times can I access my unit?
You are allowed to access your storage unit 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Do I need to use a specific lock?
You are required to provide your own lock. You can choose any padlock that is suitable for self storage doors, but we do recommend disc locks which are more secure than a regular padlock.
Do you insure the items I am storing?
No, like most storage facilities we do not insure your property. You should contact your insurance agent to see if your current insurance policy extends to your storage unit.
Can I put shelving in my unit?
Yes, you can place freestanding shelving in your unit. We do not allow shelving to be attached to the building. There is to be nothing screwed or otherwise attached to the walls or ceiling.
How do I pay my rent?
You have several options. We accept major credit cards, debit/bank cards, money orders, and cash; cash payments should be made with the exact amount as we do have change.

AutoPay - You can elect to have automatic billing, where your credit or debit card or bank account is automatically charged each month.
